Japanese casualwear experts nanamica and British sportswear legends Reebok have put heads together this winter by way of a 4-part capsule collection, laden with notes of utility and understated retro reimagining.
The collection’s prime focus is a classic reincarnated – the Reebok ‘Alien Stomper’. Here it’s cut low, taking cues from German trainer design (the much-loved Club C silhouette sitting snugly beneath a protective strap, internally emblazoned with model number and partnership headline, for the connoisseurs). Available in two colour-ways, white & black, both pairs are accented with a navy tongue and Reebok’s iconic gum sole, affording prime grip in not-so-prime weather conditions.
For the premium tracksuit inclined, we have the Vector Track Jacket and Track Pants in a proper cosy 100% cotton corduroy. Reebok’s legendary vector logo is proudly blown up a la 90s boldness, yet tastefully executed in a subtle colourway of navy & black by team nanamica. This twin set is deliberately shorter in length and relaxed in its silhouette for the purposes of daily wear.
Lastly, we’ve the Vector Tees in blue and black cotton. Between familiar Reebok iconography, in a flocky print, sits nanamica’s katakana box logo in chenille embroidery.
Buy the lot and wear it all at once, we hear you say? Yes, agreed. The limited 4-part capsule collection will be available from Saturday 30th November in all nanamica stores and from Friday December 6th at several Reebok flagship locations and selected outlets.
